Technical Drawing Digitization

When is this service a good fit?
- An industrial or marine company's archive is on paper and needs digitizing.
- A designer or engineer needs an old project in editable form.
- A construction project needs the site plan or construction drawing as a digital file.
- A building's electrical or lighting plan needs to be properly drawn up.
What can you send us?
PDF, scan, paper drawing, photo or an old DWG — including large sheet volumes. For bigger archives we agree a consistent layout and a steady delivery rhythm.
What do you get?
An editable AutoCAD DWG with a proper layer structure, plus a PDF. On large projects, a consistent layout across all sheets.
Price and turnaround
The price depends on the number of sheets and complexity. Send sample sheets and the sheet count — we will send a free quote with a deadline. Large projects can be split into stages.
Frequently asked questions
Do you handle large volumes?
Yes — we have digitized projects running to hundreds of sheets (the largest: 860 sheets in one order).
Do you also do schematics and specialised technical drawings?
Yes — including electrical schematics, arrangement drawings, sections and elevations. Our guide to digitizing ship and electrical drawings covers one of the bigger projects.
Technical drawings — electrical schematics, sections, elevations and site plans — are redrawn by hand into correct digital files. We handle single sheets as well as large technical drawing archives: our biggest order so far was 860 sheets of technical schematics.
