The client made a renovation in the apartment, and now it was necessary to make a new, correct floor plan of the apartment. It was also important to point out the demolished non-load-bearing walls and the area of the apartment after construction, to be used when registering the change in the building register.
Floor plan of the apartment based on the sketch
As initial information, we received the original floor plan of the apartment prior to the renovation works. With this we got the locations of all the walls. In addition, the client over-measured the actual dimensions of the entire apartment to obtain the actual room sizes after construction. Pictures of the actual situation were also sent to Ruut24 to check whether the specifications in the sketch match to the actual measured situation. The pictures taken in the apartment are helpful, for example, in checking door openings and viewing the locations of appliances (dishwasher, washing machine, stove, refrigerator, etc.), as the appliances are displayed as easily distinguishable icons on the floor plan.

The floor plan of the apartment and a hand-made sketch were combined, and as a result, a new floor plan drawing made in the AutoCAD drawing program. Since in this situation a closed room was built from the balcony during the reconstruction, it also had to be added to the area of the apartment. Such a floor plan can also be used when registering a change in the building register, as we added a legend where the walls were before the reconstruction works. The floor plan of the apartment can also be used in the apartment sale advertisement, as the furnishings in the apartment are also shown on the floor plan.
